George, Pancakes, and the Democratic Party
George is a working man.
Sarah is George’s wife.
Their two children are Olivia and Noah.
George loves pancakes. Pancakes drenched in maple syrup. Pancakes covered with strawberries. Pancakes sprinkled with brown sugar and topped with bacon pieces, honey, whipped cream, and raspberries.
George gets to work on time every day. He works hard.
After work, George stops at the supermarket and buys the groceries. He buys what the kids need first: calcium-rich bread, oats to make oatmeal, and lots of fruit and vegetables. Second, he buys meat, potatoes, and so on.
Then George looks into his wallet. He wants to buy pancake mix, maple syrup, bacon bits, honey, whipped cream, and those expensive little cartons of fresh berries. But he cannot. He has run out of money.
George is sad.
George gets up the next morning.
He goes to work and asks his boss for a raise. He says the cost of groceries goes up and up, but my pay hasn’t gone up for several years.
No, George’s boss says.
George works even harder. If he works hard enough, will his boss raise his pay?
Maybe. Probably not.
Mike works with George. Mike says, I don’t get paid enough either. It’s because of the Republicans. George asks, President Trump? Mike says, not just President Trump. Let me break it down.

Values: a person’s standards of behavior, or one’s judgment of someone’s worth. Their set of moral beliefs or cultural norms, especially about what is right and wrong.
And love, which doesn’t have favorites or act as judge, jury, and executioner. Love treats everyone equally and with respect.
Most of us 300 million plus citizens are workers. We spend the money we earn to buy what we and our families need and to stay healthy enough to work another day.
The Republicans in Congress pass laws that increase inflation and make everything we buy more expensive. These laws could keep workers’ bosses from giving us raises or even make them fire us.
Republicans are trying to pass a “magnificent” law to decrease big business taxes and raise our taxes. With all these high prices, no way can we afford to pay higher taxes!
Republicans want to increase big business profits and hurt us workers. What can we do about this? There’s only one answer:
Vote for love.
Vote straight Democrat.
